All of our key teachers and casual teachers are experienced dancers and performers in both a community and professional capacity. Each teacher brings her own unique skill set to the classes, and we are here to support our students every step of the way on their learning journey. 

Kylie 'Astarte'

25 years of belly dance experience

Specialises in traditional bellydance and modern raqs sharqi, world fusion bellydance (FCBD style),  contemporary fusion, and theatrical styles.

​Kylie has been teaching and performing bellydance and fusion for over 20 years, and established  Astarte Studio  in 2008. 

​Kylie has presented workshops and performed in multiple disciplines within the bellydance genre at festivals and events across Austral​ia, but is most well known for her fusion styles. 

​In 2019 she had the opportunity to perform as part of the ensemble troupe for Jillina Carlano's Australian Bellydance Evolution project

​Kylie is a certified teacher in Keti Sharif's A-Z Original and Advanced methodology, and is currently a mentor in Keti's Teacher Training program. 

Mandylynne

​Teacher and Content Contributor. FCBD Specialist.

21 years of belly dance experience

Specialises in FatChanceBellyDance® (FCBD) style and enjoys fusion, theatrical styles and playing with props.

​
​Mandylynne has been performing professionally and for the community for over 19 years and is a member of the Steampunk Vagabonds.

​She has been teaching since 2003 individually and for studios she has belonged to over the years.

​Mandylynne has completed Keti’s A-Z original Personal Techniques in 2007 (not currently practicing), FatChanceBellyDance® General Skills Certification and Teacher Training Certification in 2009.

Mandylynne currently has FatChanceBellyDance® Certified Studio status.

Tracy

​Casual Teacher - World Fusion (FCBD)

​9 years of belly dance experience

Specialises in world fusion bellydance (FCBD style), and theatrical styles. Tracy also has a background in ballroom dancing.



Tracy has been performing as a community member and professionally for over 8 years and is a member of the Steampunk Vagabonds  theatrical dance troupe.

Tracy began teaching our beginners and beyond FCBD class at the studio in 2017, and has also filled in as a casual for our beginners oriental classes.  

Pina

Casual Teacher - Bellydance & World Fusion (FCBD)

10 years of bellydance experience

Specialises in world fusion bellydance (FCBD style), modern raqs sharqi, and theatrical styles.



Pina  has been performing as a community member and also professionally for 9 years, and is a member of the Steampunk Vagabonds theatrical dance troupe.

Pina began teaching our Beginners and Beyond Bellydance class in 2018, and has also been a casual teacher for our Beginners and Beyond World Fusion (FCBD) classes.
